These are fabrics that come from the best industrial spinning mills in Europe from countries such as Spain, Italy, Turkey, Belgium and Germany.

THE BEST
ITALIAN LEATHERS

The Leather fabrics we use for our Sofa’s is supplied by the best Italian leather tanneries. These are companies with a long tradition, of cooperating with furniture manufacturers all over the world. During the production process, each of the leather mats “undergoes” detailed inspection by specialized artisans in their fields, in order to eliminate any imperfections, and ensure that the customer receives the highest
quality furniture, without any defects.

DO YOU KNOW THAT…

Most of the fabrics we use to manufacture our furniture are impregnated at the stage of weaving? This distinguishes them from most popular fabrics available on the market and guarantees the highest quality and durability of use. It is no longer necessary to choose between great design and quality – both are available.

We only use uncorrected leather for the production of our Sofa’s, as opposed to leather that has been corrected, and covered with a polymer finish. The latter which is of inferior quality, has an unnaturally shiny smooth finish and reacts inappropriately to the temperature of the human body, and is practically useless after aging.

Uncorrected leather skins available at ALWES are not covered with an artificial finish, thus they do not retain the body temperature and age in a natural way. They are the finest quality leathers and their life span is much longer with proper care.

UPHOLSTERY ROOTS

ALWES comes from a region that has always been associated with large-scale furniture production. Swarzędz and its surroundings were, and are the places where the Polish furniture industry is an inspiration for other Polish regions. It’s this area that furniture and design (thanks to, among others, the Industrial Design at the Academy of Fine Arts), that our factory was established 15 years ago. We work with many interior designers, and our portfolio includes projects in the most prestigious locations. Our furniture are available internationally.

We use the latest technologies to decrease the cost of furniture production, and we continually examine the properties of elastic foam, making quality control a more advanced process so that the final product is of a highest quality. UNLIMITED POSSIBILITIES

Modular furniture has one main advantage – you can arrange it, as you need it, thus deciding how it looks. With a large number of configurations, this allows you more room for maneuver. It’s like building blocks – you get a bundle and build whatever you want. You can have a choice of a comfortable sofa, or a corner sofa with a sleeping function, change the number of headrests, the type of armrests and add or remove additional options. Take up the challenge and create your dream piece of sofa.

RELAXATION IN A CONVENIENT POSITION

Each of us has an individual way of arranging our body for relaxation. Its for this reason that we designed our Sofa’s, to meet the needs of our customers, with mechanisms that allow you to adjust the backrest and seat angle, and an extendable footrest to obtain optimal comfort. Mechanisms that are marked with a TV pictogram symbolize that the sitting and reclining position are at an optimal comfort.

SEAT ERGONOMICS

All “movable” elements in our models, such as the armrest and headrest, are adjustable, thus enabling you to find the most optimal ergonomic position, so that your body can fully rest. The movable headrest is one of the most important elements of the furniture, as it allows you to rest the neck muscles properly for good relaxation. The same applies to proper and comfortable arm support.

SLEEPING

For those who would like to have a multifunctional, corner sofa that offers style and comfort, selected Alwes models have the option of a sleeping function while still maintaining the highest quality.

HANDY AUDIO AND BLUETOOTH

There is always a situation when we require our favourite drink, or for our smartphone to be handy. We have taken care of this. A bar can be ordered as an option, which is available to models with modular configurations. Additionally, the bar can be equipped with an audio system, with a playing panel, and the possibility of connectivity via BLUETOOTH, plus a wireless battery charging for smartphones. Who said that comfort has to be compromised.

Selected models of our furniture have voice-controlled functions. Imagine that you are relaxing comfortably on your Sofa with a glass of your favourite drink, watching TV, and you would like to unfold the relaxation function. What now? Well just talk to your furniture, and then by magic, rest takes on a new meaning. And who said you can’t talk to your couch these days?

FURNITURE CARE

Natural leathers and fabrics require systematic protection and care in order to maintain their long life and attractive appearance. Within a period of no longer than 2 months from the date of purchase, the furniture should be vacuumed, cleaned with a preparation recommended by the manufacturer ALWES COLLECTIONS, and allowed to dry. You should also impregnate the surface of the leather / fabric with the preparation recommended by the manufacturer and leave it to dry, as this will extend the life of your beautiful Sofa.

CAUTION: THE USE OF ANY SOLVENTS CONTAINING ALCOHOL, OR BLEACHING AGENTS, WILL CAUSE IRREVERSIBLE DAMAGE TO THE LEATHER AND FABRIC.

UNPACKING

The furniture should be unpacked without the use of any sharp tools. If assembly is necessary, use the instructions supplied with the furniture. When setting up and moving the furniture, hold it by its rigid and hard construction elements. Avoid sliding furniture across the floor. The feet may scratch the surface floor or be damaged. Unpacked furniture should be shaped, and any folds resulting from transport should be removed, as this will allow for the shape to settle faster. The furniture needs dry, closed rooms, away from sunlight and heat sources. In case of any doubts, please read the content of our warranty card or call our service department directly.

NOTE: WE NEVER USE A WALLPAPER KNIFE TO UNPACK THE FURNITURE!
